Onko hän Schnauzeri? Onko hän Amstaffi? Hän on Schnaustaffi! Tämä yksilöllinen pitkäkarvainen Amstaffin poika, kunnon partteillaan, varmistaen, että annat Dragolle toisen tarkastelun! Jopa hänen sormipäänsä ovat pitkäkarvaisia! Tämä ei ole Dragon ensimmäinen kerta tässä tilassa, hän on ollut kanssamme jo kerran perheen huolimattomuuden vuoksi, mutta viimeksi he vielä tulivat hänet kiinni. Tällä kertaa ei enää ja Drago joutui täysin sydämettömäksi tilaan, kotiin (ei hyvä, mutta silti) ja yksinäiseen kenneliin, Drago sulkeutui sisäänpäin shokista. Kun hän alensi itsensä uuteen todellisuuteen, häneltä ei ollut muuta vaihtoehtoa kuin lähteä ulos omasta päistään ja nauttia pienestä, mitä hänellä vielä jäi nauttia – huomiosta hoitajille, kävelyistä vapaaehtojen kanssa, yhdestä juoksuun parissa päivässä. Vaikka jotain traumatisoivaa on tapahtunut Dragolla liittyen vyötteen puhallukseen – emme tiedä mitä tehtiin tai mikä tapahtui, mutta hän on pelottunut vyötteistä. Hän antaa sinun asettaa hänelle hihnan rauhallisesti, hiljaa, erittäin ystävällinen poika, mutta jos vetät vyötteen esiin, hän haluaa juosta tai elämänsä. Tämä on hyvin surullista, mutta okei, hän selviytyy erinomaisesti hyvällä hihalla! Drago kävelee erittäin hyvin kourussa erityisesti ympäristössä, jossa hän on tottunut, ja pysyy sinun vierellä kuin hyvä poika. Uudessa stressaavassa tilanteessa, kuten äkillinen siirtyminen tilasta kaupunkiin vieraitten kanssa, hän voi vetää hieman, stressistä tuntemattomuudesta. Hän hyppää erittäin mukavasti autoon ja kaupungissa hän ei reagoi muihin ihmisiin, autoihin, lapsiin, vaan pysyy ilmeisesti neutraalina stressitekijöiden suhteen. No, hän tulee stressaavalta kodolta monta perheenjäsentä ja kohinan ympäröimältä, niin hän on tottunut siihen. Kävelyillä Drago ei reagoi useimpiin koiriin ja kulkee rauhallisesti, hän voi haukotella joillekin reaktiivisempiin tai vahvempiin koiroihin, mutta samalla hän kävelee myös muiden sosiaalisten mieskoirien kanssa. Drago rakastaa leluja, hän tulee sinuun, istuu, seisoo, antaa otteen ja haukottelee herkkuun. Drago on ystävällinen ja seuraa sinua ruokalistalle ilman mitään vaatimuksia, ellei sinä selvästi tarjoa jotain hänelle. Vaikka hän usein kävelee rauhallisesti ja hiljaa, ehkä vain koska hän on surullinen, mutta kun hän ymmärtää, että sinä rakastat häntä ja olet täällä hoidossasi, hän valaiseutuu ja alkaa juhlita iloisilla juoksulla ja tarjoaa taustansa sinulle pörrättämiseen! Meillä etsitään stabiilia, rauhallista kotia, jossa on jaksolliset päivittäiset tavarat ja aktiviteetit yhdessä, jotta Drago ei jouduta kokemaan chaosia ja dramaattisia tilanteita elämässään uudelleen. Koti, jossa on opetettuja lapsia, voisi olla hyvä, koska Drago on kokemus lapsista jo, ja Drago olisi iloinen myös erilaisissa tilanteissa kuten asuinpientaloissa tai talossa, tietysti kuten useimmille koirille, puutarha olisi maailmanparatiisi. Drago rakastaa viettää kehostaan vedellä uima-altaassa ja pestää itseään koiranuima-altaan reunalla, meidän toiveena on, että hän saisi kotia, jossa on pieni uima-alue takana tai mahdollisuus uida järvestä, jokelasta tai merellä… Hänen hartioikkunsa on 58 cm.

Is he a Schnauzer? Is he an Amstaff? He’s a Schnaustaff! Our unique long-haired Amstaff boy, with majestic moustache, making sure you’ll give Drago a second look! Even he’s toes have long hairs! This is not Drago’s first time in the shelter, he has already been with us once due to the carelessness of the family, but the last time they still came to pick him up. This time not anymore and Drago was left absolutely heartbroken in the shelter, from a home (not a good one, but still) to a lonely kennel, Drago shut down from the shock. After starting to get used to his new reality, Drago had no choice but to come out of his shell and enjoy the little that he has left to enjoy - the attention of te caretakers, the walks with the volunteers, the one run in the park a day. It seems that something traumatizing has happened with Drago involving a collar - we do not know what has been done or what has happened but he is terrified of collars. He lets you put on a harness so calmly, so quietly, a very polite boy, but if you pull out a collar, he wants to run or his life. This is very sad, but okey, he will be perfectly fine with a good harness as well! Drago walks very well on the leash especially in an environment that he is familiar with, and stays by your side like a good boy. In a new stressy situation, like suddenly going from the shelter to the town with strangers, he can pull a bit, from the stress of unknown. He jumps very nicely into the car and in the town he does not react to other people, cars, children but stays seemingly neutral about such stressors. Well, he is coming from a stressy home enviroment with many family members and a loud surrounding, so he must be used to this. On his walks, Drago does not react to most dogs and just walks by calmly, he can bark at some more reactive or dominant dogs, but at the same time, he also goes walking with another social male dog. Drago loves to snack, he will come to you, sit, stand, give paw and bark for a treat. Drago will politely accompany you to a cafeteria without demanding anything from you, unless you clearly offer something to him. While he usually walks calmly and quietly, maybe also just because he is sad, then when he realises that you love him and are there to take care of him, he brightens up and starts to celebrate with joyful sprints and offering his behind for you to scratch! For Drago we are looking for a stable, calm home with set daily routines and activities all together, so he would not have to experience chaos and drama in his life again. A home with eduated children could be fine, as he is experienced with children already, and Drago would also be happy with different scenarios like living in an apartment or a house, of course like for most dogs, a garden would be heavenly. Drago LOVES to cool his body in a pool, and rub himself on the edge of the doggie pool, we verymuch wish for him a home with a little pool in the backyard or maybe a possibiity to go swimming in a lake, river or seaside…. His shoulder height is 58cm.
