Grouse is a very lovable oldie. At almost 12 years of age, this English Springer Spaniel just needs a retirement home. His past life involved living outdoors and being a gundog so it’s high time that he gets the comforts of a home and can relax now as he pleases. He still walks very well but is a bit strong on the lead so would certainly need an adult handler. Grouse appears to be in good health and is looking better these days having received a bit of grooming from our volunteers. He is one of the quiet boys at the Shelter and is content to chill rather than make demands. A gentle boy, Grouse laps up all the attention shown to him. Grouse seems to like the other dogs at the Shelter so will most likely pass any doggy meet & greet. Grouse has not been neutered and we will not be getting him neutered at his age. He is microchipped 941000016631888, has been vaccinated and has received the usual preventative flea/worm treatments. Grouse is currently in the care of Kildare and West Wicklow SPCA The member society or animal centre will give you information on adopting an animal, including the cost, and can help you fill out the right forms.
