His grizzled, shaggy coat, his floppy ears, that warm, contented expression—JEROME is one who feels completely at ease in his own skin. And you can sense it immediately. His short, stubby tail probably hints at a past we know nothing about. But no matter what happened before—today, JEROME stands here, relaxed and joyful, and that’s exactly what matters. What we know about JEROME: Born around 2022, neutered, and standing approximately 52 cm tall at the shoulder, JEROME is a sturdy, medium-sized male in his prime—agile and bursting with energy. Since JEROME has a strong food-guarding instinct, he’d like to be an only dog. What JEROME needs: People who appreciate his laid-back, friendly nature. JEROME seems like a dog who makes life easy for his humans—uncomplicated, affectionate, and always brimming with good cheer. Friendly, agile, food-possessive ✓ Wants to be an only dog ✓ Prefers living in a rural setting—no small children in the household—no urban environment We rescued JEROME from euthanasia in Daeni/Tulcea in the fall of 2025.
