His short, stubby tail probably hints at a past we know nothing about. But no matter what happened before—today, JEROME stands here, relaxed and joyful, and that’s exactly what matters. What we know about JEROME: Born around 2022, neutered, and standing approximately 52 cm tall at the shoulder, JEROME is a sturdy, medium-sized male in his prime—agile and bursting with energy. Since JEROME has a strong food-guarding instinct, he’d like to be an only dog. What JEROME needs: People who appreciate his laid-back, friendly nature. JEROME seems like a dog who makes life easy for his humans—uncomplicated, affectionate, and always brimming with good cheer. Friendly, agile, food-possessive ✓ Wants to be an only dog ✓ Prefers living in a rural setting—no small children in the household—no urban environment We rescued JEROME from euthanasia in Daeni/Tulcea in the fall of 2025.
