Bella is looking for a adult only home with minimal visitors. She is starting to enjoy her walks and explore the world but can get overwhelmed, she will need a understanding family that can work at Bella's pace. She can potentially live with a calm, confident dog who can help her feel secure (neutered if male). Use of a secure outdoor space would be a benefit as she negotiates the outside world. Bella's ideal home will be a calm environment with patient adopters who understand that building her confidence will take time. If you're looking for a sweet little girl who needs someone to believe in her and help her discover how wonderful life can be, Bella could be the perfect companion for you. Bella is a approx. 4 -year-old Patterdale cross who is a nervous little girl looking for a patient and understanding home where she can feel safe and secure. She is gradually building trust with her carers, although she can still be wary at times. Bella can find new people and situations worrying, so she needs adopters who will give her plenty of time and never rush her. She loves having a quiet, cosy space to retreat to when she feels overwhelmed. She is a clever girl whose housetraining is coming along well but will need ongoing positive reward based training in the home along with patience and reassurance, once she feels comfortable with her humans her naturally friendly personality will shine through. Any potential adopters will need to meet multiple times here at the centre and be available for home visits before going home.
