She is currently in foster care, where she has formed a lovely bond with her male foster carer and will happily allow him to pick her up and fuss her. She is gradually building trust with her female foster carer too, although she can still be wary at times. Katie can find new people and situations worrying, so she needs adopters who will give her plenty of time and never rush her. She loves having a quiet, dark space to retreat to when she feels overwhelmed. She is a clever girl whose housetraining is coming along well, and with patience and reassurance, her naturally friendly personality will shine through. Katie also enjoys car journeys and relaxing on the sofa watching TV with her foster carers.
