Keylie saapui Gran Canarialle tarhalle yhdestä saaren kuuluisista pereristä pikkuisena pentuna muun pentueensa kanssa. Kingin ohella hän on odottanut jo 7 pitkää vuotta rakastavaa kotia, seuraten muiden sisarustensa adoptioita. Nyt on hänen vuoronsa. Keylie lähtee pian matkaan Espanjan mantereelle, jossa valmistamme hänet ja laitamme valmiiksi uuteen adoptioon. Keylie on tuntenut ainoastaan sen tarhan, jossa hän tällä hetkellä on, sekä niitä ihania ja hyväntuulisia ihmisiä, jotka siellä työskentelevät – hän luottaa heihin ja on heidän seurassaan erittäin iloinen ja rento. Hän on paiden varsin arka, ja oletamme, että hän on aluksi varautuneempi uudessa ympäristössä ja vieraiden ihmisten seurassa, ja tarvitsee aikaa oppia luottamaan tuttumattomiin ihmisiin. Keylie on niin suloinen tyttö, joka tulee hyvin toimeen ihmisten ja kaikkien muiden koirien kanssa, pieniin ja suuriin. Uskomme, että Keylie tarvitsee erityisesti toisen koirakaverin kotiin, jonka kanssa hän voi luoda siteitä ja oppia. Odotamme, että hän kukoistaa nopeammin tällä tavalla. Keylie on tottunut valjaaseen ja taljapantaan ja kävelee hyvin, mutta ei ole koskaan kohdannut vilkkaita teitä. Koti kaupungissa tai kylässä sopisi hänelle paremmin kuin vilkas keskusta. Keylie on sterilisoitu, rokotettu ja testattu negatiiviseksi Välimeren taudeille – olemme nyt jatkamassa täydellistä uusintatestausta. Hänellä on passi, ja hän on heti otettavissa adoptioon. Keylie arrived to a shelter in Gran Canaria from one of their notorious pererras on the island as a tiny pup along with the rest of her litter. Along with King, she has been waiting 7 long years to find a loving home, watching her other brothers and sisters get adopted. Now its her time. Keylie has since made her journey to the mainland and is in a different shelter there, preparing for adoption. Keylie had only ever known the shelter she was in on Gran Canaria and the wonderful kind people who work there who she trusted and was very happy and relaxed in their company. The travel and change has understanably been stressful for her as she is the more shy and nervous of the pair. She will need to time to learn to trust unfamiliar people but she is starting to settle into her new home. Keylie is such a sweet girl, good with people and all other dogs big and small. We think Keylie in particular needs another doggy companion in the home who she can form a bond with and learn from. We expect she’ll flourish more quickly this way. Keylie is used to a harness and lead and walks well, but will not have encountered busy roads. A home in a town or village would better suit her than a busy city centre. Keylie is neutered, vaccinated and snap tested negative for Mediterranean diseases - we are in the process of re-testing her in full. She is passported and available for adoption now.
