Latte has a medium energy level and would enjoy regular walks and gentle enrichment, balanced with plenty of downtime in a quiet home. She is very clever girl and and thrives on positive reinforcement which makes training enjoyable. She cannot be left alone for long periods, so any time apart will need to be built up very slowly and patiently to help her feel secure. Her ideal home will be calm, understanding, and committed to continuing her confidence-building journey. With the right people who can give her time, reassurance, and consistency, Latte will make a loyal and rewarding companion. Due to her shy and nervous nature, Latte will need multiple meets with potential adopters. Latte is a gentle, sensitive girl who may be worried when she first meets new people, but with patience and a calm approach, she really begins to blossom. She prefers to take things at her own pace and will come to you when she feels safe and comfortable. Once this relationship has been formed she will happily cuddle up with you on the sofa and openly seek affection. Latte does sometimes get overwhelmed when out and about leading to her being reactive around other dogs, so she would benefit from use of a secure private outdoor space for some chill time. She is also nervous around bouncy dogs but could potentially have clam walking buddies. She could live with sensible secondary school-aged children who understand her need for a calm and predictable environment, as she can be nervous and jumpy around loud noises she also needs to be able to have her space respected when she takes herself off for quiet time. Latte has shown to guard items (food) that she sees as valuable. This clever girl who already knows several tricks and enjoys using her brain.
