Once she feels safe and comfortable, her loving and quirky personality really shines through. She loves to sleep under the bed and has a preference for drinking her water from a mug rather than a bowl! She enjoys playing with toys and is a real foodie. Keep an eye on your dinner, though, as she may try to sneak a piece of chicken if you leave it unattended! Nala tolerates being picked up for short periods, but she isn't a lap cat and would much rather sit close beside you than be carried around. Nala can live with children, provided they understand how to respect her boundaries and approach her gently and calmly. She can be nervous around loud noises and sudden movements, so a calm home where she can feel safe and have her own space would help her thrive. Once settled into her new home, Nala would love access to a catio or a cat-proofed balcony (or even a secure enclosed garden) where she can enjoy a little outdoor time safely. Nala is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered, and she’s ready to find her forever home. All she asks is for a little patience while she settles in, plenty of love and affection, and a cosy, quiet place to retreat to whenever she needs some downtime.
