Nala 14

Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 1 year

Once she feels safe and comfortable, her loving and quirky personality really shines through. She loves to sleep under the bed and has a preference for drinking her water from a mug rather than a bowl! She enjoys playing with toys and is a real foodie. Keep an eye on your dinner, though, as she may try to sneak a piece of chicken if you leave it unattended! Nala tolerates being picked up for short periods, but she isn't a lap cat and would much rather sit close beside you than be carried around. Nala can live with children, provided they understand how to respect her boundaries and approach her gently and calmly. She can be nervous around loud noises and sudden movements, so a calm home where she can feel safe and have her own space would help her thrive. Once settled into her new home, Nala would love access to a catio or a cat-proofed balcony (or even a secure enclosed garden) where she can enjoy a little outdoor time safely. Nala is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered, and she’s ready to find her forever home. All she asks is for a little patience while she settles in, plenty of love and affection, and a cosy, quiet place to retreat to whenever she needs some downtime. In return, you’ll gain a devoted little companion who will greet you at the door, keep you company and make bedtime that little bit sweeter. Could you be the one to give Nala the safe, loving forever home she deserves? Nala’s details What is the colour of this cat? Tortoiseshell What is the sex of this cat? About Nala 14

What life with Nala 14 looks like

Nala 14 is a small young adult mixed breed cat waiting at Feline Friends London in United Kingdom.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Nala 14, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Nala 14?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Feline Friends London handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Nala 14 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Nala 14 if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Feline Friends London will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Nala 14 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Nala 14 isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Feline Friends London early rather than rehoming privately; they know Nala 14 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
