Summer on meidän kodissa on ystävällinen tyttö, joka hakee paljon huomiota ja hellyyttä! Hän on innokas tervehtimään uusia ihmisiä ja on ollut rento käsittelyyn ja eläinlääkärin tarkastuksiin. Vaikka hän on ollut hyvä muiden koirien kanssa meillä, hänellä on ollut historiaa siitä, että hän on varautunut ruokansa tai lelujensa ympärillä, joten tähän tarvitaan jatkuvaa huomiota, jotta hän muistaisi käytöstapojaan. Hän on täysin kunnossa matkustaa autossa, hyppäämättä sisään rohkaisematta, ja on rento liikenteen ympärillä. Oikeiden ihmisten ja tuen kanssa Summer kasvaa erinomaiseksi lisäykseksi kotiin. Summer on ihana 7-vuotias Cockerpoo, joka on tällä hetkellä meidän kodissa ja voi elää peruskouluikäisten tai vanhempien lasten kanssa. Hän tarvitsee olla ainoa koira kotona, mutta hän voi elää muiden eläinten kanssa, jos tehdään etukäteen varaus. Summer on saanut hyvän määrän koulutusta, ja hän hyötyy jatkuvasta oppimisesta erityisesti resurssien vartioinnista. Hän tarvitsee enemmän suljetun tilan kotona, jossa hän voi vetäytyä, ja yksityinen puutarha ei ole välttämätöntä hänelle. Summer on aiemmin ollut yksin jopa 5 tuntia ilman ongelmia, joten kun hän on asettunut, hän voi olla yksin melko onnellisesti. Summer is a friendly girl who will seek out lots of fuss and attention! She has been eager to politely greet new people, and has been comfortable during handling for grooming and vet checks. Whilst she has done great around other dogs with us, we have history of Summer becoming guarded around her food or toys, so this will need some ongoing attention to help her remember her manners. She is absolutely fine to travel in the car, jumping in without encouragement, and is relaxed around traffic. With the right people and support, Summer will continue to grow into a wonderful addition to the household. Summer is a lovely 7-year-old Cockerpoo currently on our Homestay scheme who can live with secondary school-aged children or older. She'll need to be the only dog in the home, but she could potentially live with other animals pending a pre-adoption scent swap. Summer has got a good amount of training under her belt, and will benefit from some continued learning particularly around her guarding of resources. She will need a more closed off space in the home that is just hers where she can retreat to, and a private garden is not necessary for her. Summer has previously been left alone for up to 5 hours with no issues, so once she has settled in she'll be able to left alone quite happily. She loves people, so she'll be fine to have regular visitors in the home.
