Summer è una ragazza amichevole che cercherà molto affetto e attenzione! È stata desiderosa di salutare educatamente le nuove persone e si è sentita a suo agio durante le operazioni di toelettatura e le visite veterinarie. Anche se si è comportata bene con gli altri cani con noi, abbiamo una storia di Summer che diventa guardinga intorno al suo cibo o ai suoi giocattoli, quindi questo richiederà un'attenzione continua per aiutarla a ricordare le sue buone maniere. È assolutamente a suo agio a viaggiare in auto, saltando dentro senza incoraggiamento, e si rilassa intorno al traffico. Con le persone giuste e il supporto, Summer continuerà a crescere in un meraviglioso membro della famiglia. Summer è una deliziosa Cockerpoo di 7 anni attualmente nel nostro programma di affido che può vivere con bambini delle scuole secondarie o più grandi. Dovrà essere l'unico cane in casa, ma potrebbe potenzialmente vivere con altri animali a condizione di un'analisi olfattiva preventiva. Summer ha una buona quantità di addestramento alle spalle e trarrà beneficio da un apprendimento continuo, in particolare riguardo alla sua guardia delle risorse. Avrà bisogno di uno spazio più chiuso in casa che sia solo suo dove poter ritirarsi, e un giardino privato non è necessario per lei. Summer è stata lasciata da sola per fino a 5 ore senza problemi, quindi una volta che si sarà sistemata, potrà essere lasciata da sola abbastanza felicemente. Le piacciono le persone, quindi andrà bene avere visitatori regolari in casa.

Summer is a friendly girl who will seek out lots of fuss and attention! She has been eager to politely greet new people, and has been comfortable during handling for grooming and vet checks. Whilst she has done great around other dogs with us, we have history of Summer becoming guarded around her food or toys, so this will need some ongoing attention to help her remember her manners. She is absolutely fine to travel in the car, jumping in without encouragement, and is relaxed around traffic. With the right people and support, Summer will continue to grow into a wonderful addition to the household. Summer is a lovely 7-year-old Cockerpoo currently on our Homestay scheme who can live with secondary school-aged children or older. She'll need to be the only dog in the home, but she could potentially live with other animals pending a pre-adoption scent swap. Summer has got a good amount of training under her belt, and will benefit from some continued learning particularly around her guarding of resources. She will need a more closed off space in the home that is just hers where she can retreat to, and a private garden is not necessary for her. Summer has previously been left alone for up to 5 hours with no issues, so once she has settled in she'll be able to left alone quite happily. She loves people, so she'll be fine to have regular visitors in the home.
