Who doesn't love a goat? They are cheeky, inquisitive and rebellious! We have 15 goats in our sanctuary, some were pets and their owners had to give them up, others were saved from the horrors of going to a slaughter house.Bertie here was rescued when he was only three months old. His owner was no longer able to cope and had allowed him to become very neglected. Bertie and his mother were carried out from their dirty shelter through a quagmire of mud and animal excrement. Malnourished and riddled with parasites he was rehabilitated at Willows and he is now 11 years old. He lives very happily with all his friends (his mum passed away at the grand age of 17 a few years ago) and he just loves playing on the special goat platform!Goats are very intelligent and they just love to play and if you choose to be their sponsor, you'll never be short of friend!
