Olivia is a clever, active Kelpie x Collie girl who is looking for a very special home that will embrace her bright brain, her busy mind and her softer, more sensitive side. Olivia is a beautiful, affectionate girl who adores people and loves nothing more than getting close for a cuddle. She has a big heart and a clever brain, with all the energy, curiosity and working instincts you might expect from her Kelpie and Collie heritage. This girl is looking for more than just long walks! Olivia will thrive with someone who enjoys getting stuck into training, enrichment and activities that give her brain a proper workout. Think scent games, trick training, problem-solving, and exploring herding-inspired activities that provide a positive outlet for her natural instincts. She could be a wonderful companion for someone interested in canine sports or reward-based training, with plenty of opportunities to learn together and build a special bond. Although Olivia is an active girl with lots of potential, she also has a sensitive side. The world can feel a little overwhelming at times, and she can be unsure of new environments, unfamiliar situations and other dogs. She will need a patient, experienced home that understands working breeds and can help her navigate these big feelings at her own pace. Building her confidence, recognising when she needs a little space and celebrating the small wins will be just as important as keeping her busy. Olivia could benefit from living with a suitable, confident resident dog who can offer positive social experiences and help her feel more secure. This would need careful matching, as her herding instincts can be very strong, and she is still learning how to communicate appropriately with other dogs. Olivia is looking for an family environment with older children that are understanding of her needs and able to recognise when she may be feeling overwhelmed and ideally experience with Collies, Kelpies or similar intelligent herding breeds. She will also need support to gradually build up time alone. With the right people beside her, Olivia has so much potential. She is bright, affectionate and full of possibility, and we would love to find someone who sees the wonderful dog she can become.
