Alex was surrendered to us in 2018 in very poor condition (the last photo was taken on the day he was brought to the shelter). We now know that he is allergic, and thanks to a proper diet, he’s completely unrecognizable compared to his previous self. Unfortunately, the conditions in which he was kept and the lack of normal human interaction have left their mark on his character. He’s a demanding dog who needs an experienced, patient owner. He’ll thrive best in a home with a garden—but this shouldn’t be mistaken for leaving him alone in the yard. He’s highly energetic, full of adventure, and intelligent. He’s wary of strangers. Unfortunately, he’ll need to wear a muzzle during vet visits or grooming procedures.

Alex został do nas oddany w 2018 roku w bardzo złym stanie (ostatnie zdjęcie było zrobione w dniu przyjęcia do schroniska). Obecnie już wiemy, że jest alergikiem i dzięki właściwej diecie jest nie do poznania. Niestety, warunki w jakich był trzymany, brak normalnego konaktu z ludźmi nie pozostał bez wpływu na jego charakter. Jest psem wymagającycm doświadczonego, cierpliwego opiekuna. Najlepiej będzie czuł się w domu z ogrodem – jednak nie należy tego mylić z pozostawieniem go samemu sobie na podwórku. Jest bardzo energiczny, żądny przygód i inteligentny. W stosunku do obcych jest nieufny. Niestety u weterynarza czy przy zabiegach pielęgnacycjnych konieczny jest kaganiec.
