Bandi is a sweet boy who checked into the shelter on May 28, 2026. He didn't check in voluntarily, of course - Bandi is what we call an "abandoned dog." We don't know why people no longer wanted him, but at least he wasn't left outdoors or sent to a killing station. We don't know anything about his previous life, probably just like most dogs in Hungary, kept in the garden, if he was lucky, without being chained. Unfortunately, Bandi was neither vaccinated nor neutered, this will now be done so that he can start a new happy life soon. Hopefully very soon! Bandi is a fine fellow, in the first few minutes he is a bit shy, but with caresses and kind words he quickly warms up. Nevertheless, he would rather leave the shelter today than tomorrow. He is a dear, friendly and nice boy who now wants to explore the world together with his people, step by step. Walking on a leash works just fine, but it certainly needs to be further developed, just as he still has to learn some things from the dog multiplication table, but he is smart and will quickly have the missed things in mind if you guide him lovingly. Bandi will definitely be a great companion for his new two-legged friends and it will be fun to spend time with him and teach him some tricks, as long as dog and human have a lot of quality time together. Bandi gets along well with his fellow dogs and is currently (June 26, 2026) being integrated into a mixed pack. For our enchanting Bandi we are looking for a loving and adventurous home where he can get a lot of variety, enjoy exciting walks, romp around with dog buddies and dash through meadows and fields, cuddle up in his own bed and recover from the exciting day. Many caresses, full family connection, a set framework in which he can develop and finally Bandi's world would be okay. Who will go through thick and thin with Bandi? Ursprungsland: Ungarn Der herzige Bandi, am 28.5.2026 hat er im Tierheim eingecheckt. Nicht freiwillig natürlich, nein Bandi ist ein sogenannter Abgabehund. Warum die Leute ihn nicht mehr haben wollten, wissen wir nicht, aber immerhin wurde er nicht ausgesetzt oder in eine Tötungsstation gebracht. Wie sein bisheriges Leben ausgesehen hat, ist uns nichts bekannt, vermutlich einfach wie die meisten Hunde in Ungarn, im Garten gehalten, wenn er Glück hatte, ohne angekettet zu sein. Leider war Bandi weder geimpft noch kastriert, dies wird nun alles nachgeholt, damit er demnächst ready ist, in ein neues glückliches Leben zu starten. Hoffentlich ganz bald! Bandi ist ein feiner Kerl, in den ersten paar Minuten ist er etwas schüchtern, taut aber mit Streicheleinheiten und lieben Worten schnell auf. Nichts desto trotz möchte er das Tierheim lieber heute als Morgen hinter sich lassen. Er ist ein lieber, freundlicher und netter Bursche, welcher nun gerne gemeinsam mit seinen Menschen die Welt erkunden möchte, Step by Step. Das an der Leine laufen klappt schon ganz prima, muss aber sicherlich noch weiter ausgebaut werden, ebenso muss er noch einige Dinge vom Hundeeinmaleins lernen, doch er ist schlau und wird das Versäumte schnell intus haben, wenn man ihn liebevoll anleitet. Bandi wird seinen neuen Zweibeinern bestimmt ein toller Gefährte sein und es wird Freude machen, mit ihm seine Zeit zu verbringen und ihm ein paar Tricks beizubringen, Hauptsache Hund und Mensch haben viel Qualitytime zusammen. Mit seinen Artgenossen versteht sich Bandi gut und wird aktuell (26.6.2026) in ein gemischtes Rudel integriert. Für unseren bezaubernden Bandi suche wir ein liebevolles und unternehmungslustiges Zuhause, wo er viel Abwechslung bekommt, spannende Spaziergänge geniessen darf, mit Hundekumpels rumtoben und über Wiesen und Felder flitzen kann, sich gemütlich in sein eigenes Bettchen kuscheln darf und sich vom aufregenden Tag erholen kann. Dazu viele Streicheleinheiten, vollen Familienanschluss, ein gesetzter Rahmen, in dem er sich entfalten kann und die Welt von Bandi wäre endlich in Ordnung. Wer geht mit Bandi durch dick und dünn? Bandi kann ab ca. Ende Juli 2026 reisen, wenn er ein Zuhause oder eine Pflegestelle gefunden hat.
