Her story: Brezel is just five months old, about 50 cm tall, and full of energy. Since early June, she has been living in her foster family in Germany—exploring her new world curiously. She shows herself to be a sensitive, smart puppy with a lot of potential and a good dose of confidence. Her start in life was far from easy: she and her two sisters were abandoned in a box outside our shelter in Romania—like an unwanted object. Of course, we immediately took them in, cared for them, and prepared them for a new life. Now, Brezel is ready to move into a loving home. Visually, we suspect a German Shepherd mix—fluffy fur, a cute ring tail, and floppy ears. But it’s not just her looks that are enchanting: Brezel brings heart and character. Currently, Brezel is still insecure in many situations—new people, foreign stimuli, and unfamiliar environments are often not yet to her liking. But she is curious and brave enough to give it a try. Her foster family accompanies her lovingly through this first exciting time— and Brezel makes progress daily. Finding a place to rest in the box still doesn’t come easily to her, but she is beginning to understand that it’s okay to take a moment. Of course, it frustrates her sometimes—but she is learning that rest can also be beautiful. In dealing with her new packmates, there is still room for improvement: Brezel is stormy, a bit demanding, and tests boundaries. But she has experienced dog siblings by her side, who show her with patience how to communicate and interact respectfully. Basic commands, leash training, and house cleanliness are still at the beginning. But Brezel is eager to learn, smart, and approachable—with loving, consistent guidance, she will master all of this step by step. We are looking for people who enjoy exploring the world with a young puppy. Patience, humor, and a clear structure are important—just as important is the willingness to accompany initial insecurities. A positively run dog training class would be highly recommended. Even though puberty will soon begin (including setbacks and “forgetfulness”)—whoever accompanies her through this time will win a close, strong bond with a wonderful dog. Brezel will be microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea treated before being rehomed. She has an EU pet passport and will be rehomed after a positive Brezel lives in a foster home in Germany and is looking forward to visitors! Maybe your shared future begins right now. Ihre Geschichte: Brezel ist gerade einmal 5 Monate jung, etwa 50 cm groß und voller Lebensfreude. Seit Anfang Juni lebt sie in ihrer Pflegefamilie in Deutschland – und entdeckt neugierig ihre neue Welt. Dabei zeigt sie sich als sensibles, kluges Hundemädchen mit viel Potenzial und einer guten Portion Selbstbewusstsein. Ihr Start ins Leben war alles andere als leicht: Zusammen mit ihren beiden Schwestern wurde sie in einer Box vor unserem Shelter in Rumänien ausgesetzt – wie ein ungewollter Gegenstand. Natürlich haben wir die drei sofort aufgenommen, versorgt und vorbereitet auf ein neues Leben. Jetzt ist Brezel bereit, in ein liebevolles Zuhause umzuziehen. Optisch vermuten wir einen Schäferhund-Mix – mit flauschigem Fell, einer süßen Ringelrute und weichen Schlappohren. Aber es ist nicht nur ihr Äußeres, das verzaubert: Brezel bringt Herz und Charakter mit. Aktuell zeigt sich Brezel in vielen Situationen noch unsicher – neue Menschen, fremde Reize und unbekannte Umgebungen sind ihr oft noch nicht ganz geheuer. Doch sie ist neugierig und mutig genug, sich darauf einzulassen. Ihre Pflegefamilie begleitet sie liebevoll durch diese erste, aufregende Zeit – und Brezel macht dabei täglich Fortschritte. In der Box zur Ruhe zu kommen fällt ihr noch nicht ganz leicht, aber sie beginnt zu verstehen, dass es okay ist, mal innezuhalten. Natürlich frustriert es sie manchmal – aber sie lernt, dass Ruhe auch etwas Schönes sein kann. Auch im Umgang mit ihren neuen Rudelgefährten ist noch Luft nach oben: Brezel ist stürmisch, etwas fordernd und testet Grenzen. Doch sie hat erfahrene Hundegeschwister an ihrer Seite, die ihr mit Geduld zeigen, wie man kommuniziert und respektvoll miteinander umgeht. Grundkommandos, Leinenführigkeit und Stubenreinheit stehen noch am Anfang. Aber Brezel ist lernfreudig, schlau und ansprechbar – mit liebevoll-konsequenter Führung wird sie all das Schritt für Schritt meistern. Wir suchen für Brezel Menschen, die Freude daran haben, gemeinsam mit einem jungen Hund die Welt zu entdecken. Geduld, Humor und ein klarer Rahmen sind wichtig – ebenso wie die Bereitschaft, anfangs auch Unsicherheiten zu begleiten. Eine positiv arbeitende Hundeschule wäre sehr empfehlenswert. Auch wenn bald die Pubertät beginnt (inkl. Rückschritten und „Vergesslichkeit“) – wer sie durch diese Zeit begleitet, gewinnt eine enge, starke Bindung zu einem wunderbaren Hund. Brezel wird gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht vermittelt. Sie besitzt einen EU-Heimtierausweis und wird nach positiver Vorkontrolle gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 500 Euro in liebevolle Hände abgegeben. Brezel lebt in einer Pflegestelle in Deutschland und freut sich über Besuch! Vielleicht beginnt genau jetzt eure gemeinsame Zukunft.
