Chicco, Chihuahua-Mix, male dog (will be neutered), born 18.8.22, 3.7 kg Optically, he seems to have a bit of a Chihuahua and possibly also a Shiba Inu in him. So tiny Chicco is, so clear is also: He brings not only cute sides but also some projects where his future people will have to work with him. Chicco is initially rather fearful of strangers and needs time to build trust. With familiar people, he shows himself much more open. In his previous husbandry, however, he was not given many boundaries, and important things in everyday life have been lacking. Therefore, Chicco is currently not a dog who can just run alongside, but one who needs clear orientation, patience, and reliable structures. Especially important is to know that Chicco has not learned to be alone. For him, we are therefore looking for people who can really have a lot of time for him in the first period. At the beginning, there should definitely be one person at home all day long so that Chicco can settle in in peace and that the alone-time is built up step by step and sensibly. With other dogs, Chicco gets along well. A confident fellow animal in the new home can therefore fit well with him, but it is not a must. He will also likely get used to cats. For Chicco, we wish for a home with people who do not underestimate his cute appearance. He does not need admiration for his size but people who are ready to make up for what has been missed and to show him step by step how a relaxed everyday life can function. With time, patience, and a fair, consistent leadership, Chicco has good chances to develop positively. Whoever wants to give a small dog with a great catch-up need a suitable home, may get to know Chicco.

Chicco, Chihuahua-Mix, Rüde (wird noch kastriert), geb. 18.8.22, 3,7 kg Optisch steckt in ihm wohl ein Chihuahua und vermutlich auch ein Shiba Inu. So winzig Chicco ist, so klar ist aber auch: Er bringt nicht nur niedliche Seiten mit, sondern auch einige Baustellen, an denen seine künftigen Menschen mit ihm arbeiten müssen. Chicco ist Fremden gegenüber anfangs eher ängstlich und braucht Zeit, um Vertrauen zu fassen. Mit vertrauten Personen zeigt er sich dann deutlich offener. In seiner bisherigen Haltung wurden ihm allerdings nicht viele Grenzen gesetzt und wichtige Dinge im Alltag sind zu kurz gekommen. Deshalb ist Chicco aktuell kein Hund, der einfach so nebenherläuft, sondern einer, der klare Orientierung, Geduld und verlässliche Strukturen braucht. Besonders wichtig ist zu wissen, dass Chicco nicht gelernt hat, alleine zu bleiben. Für ihn suchen wir daher Menschen, die in der ersten Zeit wirklich viel Zeit für ihn haben. Anfangs sollte auf jeden Fall eine Person ganztags zuhause sein, damit Chicco in Ruhe ankommen kann und das Alleinbleiben später kleinschrittig und sinnvoll aufgebaut wird. Mit anderen Hunden ist Chicco bestens verträglich. Ein souveräner Artgenosse im neuen Zuhause kann deshalb gut zu ihm passen, ist aber kein Muss. Auch an Katzen wird er sich voraussichtlich gewöhnen können. Für Chicco wünschen wir uns ein Zuhause bei Menschen, die seinen niedlichen Auftritt nicht unterschätzen. Er braucht keine Bewunderung für seine Größe, sondern Menschen, die bereit sind, Versäumtes nachzuholen und ihm Schritt für Schritt zu zeigen, wie ein entspannter Alltag funktionieren kann. Mit Zeit, Geduld und einer fairen, konsequenten Führung hat Chicco gute Chancen, sich positiv zu entwickeln. Wer einem kleinen Hund mit großem Nachholbedarf ein passendes Zuhause geben möchte, darf Chicco gerne kennenlernen.
