Della was found alone on a country road, surrounded by vast fields and in the middle of nowhere. Nobody knows how long she had been there. In 2025, she was found and brought to the Buftea animal shelter. A heartworm disease was diagnosed in Della and successfully treated in Romania - the subsequent test was negative. Nevertheless, Della will and should still be treated every 3 months with a worm medicine that is also used against heartworms. After that, a safety check (blood test) must be carried out again. In January 2026, Della was already tested negative for heartworms. She was lucky to find a foster home and was able to travel to Germany on September 26, 2026. Della is about 3 years old and has a shoulder height of about 27cm. She is a very delicate, loving and friendly little dog, who loves every stroke.
