A medium-sized, low-floor dog. He ended up at the shelter after his owner passed away. You could briefly describe this little dog as a big spirit in a small body. And more than that? We believe Deryl’s ancestors were terriers; Deryl has inherited their energy, speed, agility, and spiritedness from them. Despite his rather stocky build, Deryl can jump very high, and during moments of great excitement, you might spot him leaping up to shoulder height. Deryl is a fairly excitable dog—first he acts, then he thinks. He also needs time to fully trust someone. From close range, he’ll bark at other dogs, but if he has even the slightest chance to get away, he’ll take it without hesitation. We’re looking for a home for Deryl that’s: — calm and understanding of a dog’s needs — child-free — free of other pets

Sądzimy, że przodkowie Deryla to teriery, Deryl odziedziczył po nich energiczność, szybkość, zwinność, zadziorność . Deryl pomimo dość korpulentnej budowy potrafi bardzo wysoko skakać i w chwilach dużego pobudzenia można go dojrzeć w okolicach ramion. Deryl jest psem dość pobudliwym – najpierw zrobi, potem pomyśli. Potrzebuje też czasu aby w pełni zaufać. Z bliskiej odległości inne psy obszczekuje, ale jeśli ma tylko możliwość odejścia korzysta z tego w pełni.
