Goppie is a sweet, friendly, and open-minded dog who clearly enjoys human company. This approximately 50-cm-tall lady is around two years old and wears ear tag number 58339. Every stroke and every bit of attention means the world to her—and all the more heartbreaking is the fact that she’s still waiting for her own family. In October 2024, Goppie came into the care of Smeura as an unwanted, abandoned puppy. While many of the puppies who grew up alongside her have already found their families, Goppie has been left behind. The photos taken in the paddock were taken over a year ago. As early as August 2025, she was introduced to partner animal shelters—but unfortunately, she wasn’t given a chance to be adopted. Yet Goppie possesses everything one could hope for in a loyal companion: She’s people-oriented, friendly, and thoroughly enjoys any kind of affection. Goppie ist eine liebe, freundliche und aufgeschlossene Hündin, die die Nähe zum Menschen sichtlich genießt. Die etwa 50 cm große Hündin ist rund zwei Jahre alt und trägt den Ohrclip 58339. Jede Streicheleinheit und jede Aufmerksamkeit bedeuten ihr viel – umso trauriger ist es, dass sie noch immer auf ihre eigene Familie warten muss. Im Oktober 2024 kam Goppie als ungewollter, ausgesetzter Welpe in die Obhut der Smeura. Während viele Welpen, die gemeinsam mit ihr aufwuchsen, inzwischen ihre Familien gefunden haben, blieb Goppie zurück. Die Aufnahmen im Paddock entstanden bereits vor einem Jahr. Schon im August 2025 wurde sie den Partnertierheimen vorgestellt, doch leider erhielt sie keine Aufnahmechance. Dabei bringt Goppie alles mit, was man sich von einer treuen Begleiterin wünscht: Sie ist menschenbezogen, freundlich und genießt jede Form von Zuwendung.
