Julián appeared in a park a few months ago, seemed lost, and we were sure someone would claim him since he appeared accustomed to that area and moving freely, but no one ever came forward. The first analysis showed that he had liver issues and had worsened from being on the street without food, so he had to be hospitalized for several days to control the vomiting and loss of appetite. He is now controlled with a special food, needing check-ups every 3-6 months to ensure his liver doesn't deteriorate further. He also came with several teeth in poor condition, so he had to undergo an operating theatre and have several teeth removed. He is a loving, very calm, and sleepy cat, with a cat-like personality, meaning he enjoys affection and being listened to, but on his terms. He could coexist with another cat if the other cat is as calm as he is, although it might be better for him to be the only cat. Currently, he lives in the our area shelter with Lupito, they respect each other's space perfectly, and even sleep cheek-to-cheek, very content. Would you like to adopt him? He would need to be a calm person, preferably without children, who understands he needs his check-ups (blood tests) to monitor his liver and is willing to give a chance to a cat that really needs it. He cannot have access to the outdoors and would need to live in a protected house with grilles/netting, as he could worsen his condition if he were to get lost, and he is a plump, not very agile cat who prefers to be the master of the sofa rather than the street. We need sponsors to cover the cost of his special food and his veterinary check-ups (blood tests and ultrasounds). This animal is not suitable for homes with children.

Julián apareció hace unos meses en un parque, parecía perdido y estábamos seguros de que alguien lo reclamaría, ya que se le veía acostumbrado a estar en esa zona y moverse libremente, pero nunca lo reclamaron. La primera analítica mostró que tenía el hígado tocado y había empeorado al estar en la calle sin comer, por lo que tuvo que estar ingresado varios días para controlar los vómitos y la inapetencia. Podría convivir con otro gato en el caso de que sea tranquilo como él, aunque quizá sería mejor para él ser gato único. Ahora mismo vive en el despacho de Abrazo Animal con Lupito, se respetan los espacios perfectamente e incluso duermen espalda con espalda tan contentos. ¿Te gustaría adoptarle? Tendría que ser una persona tranquila, mejor sin niños, que tenga en cuenta que tiene que tener sus revisiones (analíticas) para controlar su hígado y que quiera darle una oportunidad a un gato que realmente lo necesita. No podría tener acceso al exterior y tendría que ser una casa protegida con rejas/mosquiteras, ya que podría empeorar su estado si se perdiese, además de que es un gato regordete no muy ágil, que prefiere ser el dueño del sofá que de la calle.
