Kelyn is a little lady who loves her routine and enjoys the simple things in life. She may take a little time to make new friends. However, once she gets to know you and feels comfortable, her lovely personality begins to shine through. She absolutely LOVES food, so tasty treats are definitely the way to her heart! She walks nicely on her lead. She enjoys her daily strolls around the block and likes saying hello to some dogs along the way. At home, Kelyn enjoys her home comforts. Being a little Dachshund, she appreciates some help getting on and off the sofa and currently uses a small pouffe to give her a helping paw! Once you've earned her trust, Kelyn will make a wonderful little companion, bringing plenty of personality, playfulness and love into her new home! Kelyn is a lovely eight-year-old Dachshund who is looking for a quiet, loving home where she can enjoy her favourite things in life – a cosy sofa, gentle walks, tasty treats and, most importantly, playing with her toys! Kelyn is looking for patient, understanding adult adopters who will allow her to build confidence at her own pace. She can be quite nervous when meeting new people and may initially bark, particularly when visitors enter the home. She is looking to be the only dog and a home without cats, small furries, or livestock. Kelyn is housetrained and happy to travel in the car. Once settled, she is happy to be left alone at home for a few hours at a time.
