Kokus is a dog of approximately 5.5 years old (03-2026) who, despite everything he has been through, has a gentle and calm demeanor. He has only one healthy eye, but this does not hinder him. The other eye has been surgically removed and the area is fully healed. No additional care is needed, and his other eye is healthy. In addition, Kokus is a cautious dog who feels most comfortable in a quiet environment. Although he does not immediately come forward, he clearly shows that he likes to be near trusted people. His character is warm, loving and gentle. Therefore, he is a dog who really thrives with people who give him the time and space to feel safe. Currently, Kokus is staying at the shelter with rescuer Timea, where he lives with other dogs in a kennel. Kokus is een hond van ongeveer 5,5 jaar oud (03-2026) die, ondanks alles wat hij heeft meegemaakt, een zachte en rustige uitstraling heeft. Hij heeft nog maar één gezond oog, maar dat belemmert hem niet. Het andere oog is operatief verwijderd en de plek is volledig genezen. Er is geen extra zorg meer nodig, en zijn andere oog is gezond. Daarnaast is Kokus een voorzichtige hond die zich het prettigst voelt in een rustige omgeving. Hoewel hij niet direct op de voorgrond treedt, laat hij duidelijk zien dat hij graag in de buurt is van vertrouwde mensen. Hij zoekt geen drukte op, maar komt juist tot zijn recht wanneer hij in zijn eigen tempo contact mag maken. Verder geniet hij van kalme aandacht, een zachte stem en een vriendelijke benadering. Zijn karakter is warm, lief en zachtaardig. Daardoor is hij een hond die vooral tot bloei komt bij mensen die hem de tijd en ruimte geven om zich veilig te voelen. Momenteel verblijft Kokus in de opvang bij rescuer Timea, waar hij samenleeft met andere honden in een kennel. Hoewel hij daar goed wordt verzorgd, is dit natuurlijk geen ideale plek voor een hond zoals hij. Een eigen thuis, met rust en stabiliteit, zou voor hem een wereld van verschil maken. Tenslotte is Kokus een hond die klaar is voor een volgende stap. Hij verdient een plek waar hij niet alleen verzorgd wordt, maar ook echt gezien wordt.
