Kong is a loveable and friendly giant who is always happy, and maybe a little too enthusiastic, to say hello to everyone he meets. Kong is still only a young boy so doesn’t know his strength and size. Further training will need to be done to ensure he can be taught manners. Kong does currently like to jump up so a family with experience around large breeds would be beneficial. Kong is a sweet boy and always greets staff in the morning with a blanket in his mouth and a very waggy tail! Kong came into our care as a stray from another kennels so we don’t have any history on him or know if he has lived in a home before. Due to this and his size, Kong is best to be rehomed to an adult only home. Kong has interacted well with friendly dogs whilst in our care but can be very boisterous and over the top. He will need continuous socialisation to help train him to react appropriately around dogs. He could potentially be rehomed with another dog that has a calm and friendly temperament but it is preferred for him to be the only dog in the home so that he can get all of the attention to help with his training. This would be subject to a successful meet.
