Kovu est un chien proche de l’humain, qui recherche le contact et la présence de son référent. Derrière son attachement, c’est aussi un chien qui a besoin d’un cadre clair et cohérent pour se sentir bien et s’apaiser au quotidien. Joueur et plein d’énergie, il a un grand besoin de dépense, mais surtout d’éducation. Kovu est encore en apprentissage et demandera des adoptants prêts à s’investir sérieusement pour lui apprendre les bases, avec patience et régularité. Il peut se montrer un peu “toqué”, avec des réactions parfois vives ou incomprises. Il aura donc besoin de temps pour être compris, et pour lui-même apprendre à mieux gérer ses émotions. Une relation basée sur la confiance, la constance et la compréhension sera essentielle pour lui permettre de s’épanouir pleinement. Kovu conviendra à des personnes disponibles, investies, et conscientes de l’importance d’un cadre structurant. Avec le bon accompagnement, il pourra devenir un chien équilibré et profondément attachant.
