Luna is a 1 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross Husky who is looking for a patient and understanding home to help her continue building her confidence. She is a super sweet girl with a gentle nature, but can be nervous. Luna hasn't experienced much in her young life, meaning she can become overwhelmed by her surroundings, so she will need adopters who are happy to let her settle at her own pace. Once she has had time to get to know someone, she enjoys plenty of fuss and attention. Luna travels brilliantly and jumps straight into the car, making her an excellent companion for future adventures once she is more comfortable. She can have friendly sniffs with other dogs but is generally happy to go about her business. Luna could live with sensible children of upper secondary school age and above. As she tends to ignore other dogs, she would be best suited as the only dog in the home, with continued positive socialisation with dogs out and about. She cannot live with cats but could share her home with small pets if they are kept separate. Luna struggles with separation anxiety and will need a home where she is not regularly left alone, with any time spent by herself built up gradually and at a pace she is comfortable with. As Luna can be nervous of her surroundings, it is likely to take time before she feels confident enough for regular walks, therefore she will need a private, secure garden where she can exercise and explore safely while she settles into her new home.
