Mélior was found in the barn of our veterinarian partner clinic with his brothers and their mom. The veterinarians suspect that the mom was thrown there, as they had never seen her before and she sought refuge in the warm hay of the barn to protect her little ones. Character: Upon arrival, Mélior and his brothers were extremely timid with humans, almost wild, and gradually got used to humans with patience and attempts at cuddles. Mélior eventually understood that no harm was intended and slowly accepted being looked at without spitting, being gently touched when his back was turned, and eventually being fully caressed! The purring replaced the spitting! Mélior is not at all aggressive, even though he is still very fearful when he doesn't know people; this little guy has a well-toughened character, being the most fearful of all but now very affectionate! Mélior and his brothers are currently in a family foster home with cats, dogs, and children.
