Milo is an alert, friendly dachshund who immediately wins hearts with his warm nature. In his previous home, he was always approachable and people-oriented – that’s his greatest strength. What he lacks, however, is a solid training foundation. Consistent training has been lacking in the past, and it shows. As a true dachshund, Milo brings dachshund-like stubbornness. He is active, playful, and loves long walks. Without clear structure and meaningful stimulation, he makes his own plans – which are not always in the best interest of his people. With the right guidance and a consistent, but fair approach, he blossoms visibly. When it comes to daily living, Milo is uncomplicated: a few hours alone are no problem for him. For Milo, we are looking for a home with people who have experience with stubborn dogs and are willing to make up for the missed training together with him. Regular dog training classes and consistent, meaningful mental stimulation are not luxuries for Milo, but necessities. Those who take this seriously and give him the structure he needs will find in Milo a loyal, active, and thoroughly friendly companion.

Milo ist ein aufgeweckter, freundlicher Dackel, der durch seine herzliche Art sofort für sich einnimmt. In seinem bisherigen Zuhause war er stets umgänglich und menschenbezogen – das ist seine große Stärke. Was ihm jedoch fehlt, ist eine solide Erziehungsgrundlage. An konsequenter Ausbildung hat es in der Vergangenheit gemangelt, und das merkt man ihm an. Als echter Dackel bringt Milo dackeltypischen Eigensinn mit. Er ist aktiv, verspielt und liebt ausgedehnte Spaziergänge. Ohne klare Orientierung und sinnvolle Auslastung macht er sich selbst einen Plan – was nicht immer im Sinne seiner Menschen ist. Mit der richtigen Führung und einer konsequenten, aber fairen Herangehensweise blüht er hingegen sichtlich auf. Was das tägliche Zusammenleben angeht, ist Milo unkompliziert: ein paar Stunden Alleine bleiben ist für ihn kein Problem. Für Milo suchen wir ein Zuhause bei Menschen, die Erfahrung mit eigensinnigen Hunden mitbringen und bereit sind, das Versäumte gemeinsam mit ihm nachzuholen. Hundeschule und regelmäßige, sinnvolle Beschäftigung sind für Milo keine Kür, sondern Pflicht. Wer das ernst nimmt und ihm die Struktur gibt, die er braucht, wird in Milo einen treuen, aktiven und durch und durch freundlichen Begleiter finden.
