Moana megtalálták, amikor vékony, nedves és hideg volt, egy ember hátsó udvarában az Ojen úton. Elbújt egy sarkba, és szerencsére nem ment sehova, amíg a mentőcsapatunk odaérkezett. Éppen túlélte a part menti erős viharokat, és bár elsőre félt és visszahúzódott, boldog volt, hogy megtalálták, álomba merült takaróiban, és jó étvággyal evett. Az első meggyógyulási időszak után csatlakozott egy nőstény kutyák csoportjához, köztük Podencosokhoz, és amint csatlakozhatott más kutyákhoz, azonnal megmutatta a karakterét! Moana a legjátékosabb, vidámabb, aktívabb Podenco lány, telve élettel és örömmel! Szeret futni a kutya parkban, és játszani a önkéntesekkel. Amikor megszorongatod a háta mögött, annyira izgatott lesz, hogy maga a földre dobja magát, és harcolni hív! Mégis úgy tűnik, ezek a játékok az elsők, amiket egy emberrel csinál, ami érthető, mivel a Podencosok általában eljutnak hozzánk miután túlélték a vadászati erőszakot. Ezért szüksége van irányításra, hogyan játszhat emberekkel, és nem csípje meg az önkéntesek testét a fogával, mint ahogy más kutyákkal játszik. Ez nem probléma, gyorsan megtanulja, különösen mivel élelemmotivált. Moana egy aktív otthonra vágyik, biztosan legalább egy másik kutyával, vagy többel, még jobb. Amikor egy új kutya csatlakozik a csapathoz, kezdetben egy kicsit pofon csattanó lehet, de nem árt, Moana barátságos, társas lány, és a kezdeti izgalma után gyorsan megbarátkozik a új barátjával. Amikor a kutyabarátai mellett van, akkor semmire nem félt! Moana egy napra kiment a volontárokkal, más kutyák nélkül, és természetesen kissé szégyellősen viselkedett, rettegett az új helyzetektől, és most úgy tűnik, kissé félelmet érez a férfiakkal szemben, de ez biztosan kiegyenlíted idővel. Szereti, ha megsimogatják, ha óvatosan teszik, és amikor biztonságban érzi magát a karodban, akkor puha lesz, és álomba alszik, amikor csókolod. Még nem tudjuk, hogyan reagálna egy városi környezetben, de látjuk, hogy ha van egy kutya barátja mellette, sokkal bátrabban és kíváncsibban felfedezi az új dolgokat és helyeket. Moana alacsony pozitív szintű leishmania esetén áll, amely már teljes kezelés alatt áll, de a jövőbeli családnak figyelemmel kell kísérnie az ő vértesztjét évente, nem nehéz, és a menhely vagy az internacionális árvaház csapat mindig elérhető a család támogatására. Moana was found curled up skinny, wet and cold, as she was looking shelter and help in a backyard of a person, on the Ojen road. She hid herself in a corner, and luckily did not go anywhere anymore until our rescue team arrived. She had just survived the days of heavy storm on the coast, and even though she was scared and shut down at first, she seemed to be happy to be found, falling asleep in her blankets and eating with good appetite. After the initial recovery period, she joined a group of female dogs, including Podencos, and as soon as she could join other dogs, her character directly started to show! Moana is the most playful, cheerful, active Podenco girl, full of life and joy! She loves to run in the dog park, and play with volunteers. When you scratch her back, she gets so excited, throws herself on the floor and invites to to wrestle! It looks however that these are her first times playing with a human, which makes sense as Podencos are usually arriving to us after surviving abuse in the hunting world. So she needs some guidance on how to play with humans, and not to nibble on the volunteers bodies with her teeth, like she would do when playing with other dogs. That is not a problem, she will learn very quickly, especially as she is snack-motivated. Moana is looking for an active home, definitely together with at least 1 more dog, or more, even better. When a new dog is joining the pack, she can be a bit barky in the beginning, but she means no harm with that, Moana is a friendly, social girl, and after her initial excitement, will settle into a new friendship quickly. When she is with his dog friends, then she is not afraid of anything! Moana went out for the day with volunteers, without other dogs, and then she was of course a bit shy and afraid of new situations, and at the moment she also seems to be a bit more afraid of men, but this will surely adjust over time. She loves to be touched, when you do it gently, and once she feels safe in your arms, then she melts like butter, falling asleep when you kiss her. We do not yet know how Moana would feel in a town environment, but we see that we a dog friend on her side, she is much more courageous and curious to go exploring new things and places. Her shoulder height is about 47cm.
