Moritz has been living at Charly's Ranch since the beginning of October 2020. To our delight, he quickly befriended the other ponies Maya, Luise, and Mucki. Moritz is already a real pony grandpa at around 30 years old. When he's in a good mood and gallops over the meadow with the others, you wouldn't guess his age at all! But there are also other days when Moritz carries around some costly, age-related illnesses, such as Equine Cushing Syndrome. In January 2021, Moritz also had to go to the animal clinic in Telgte, where some teeth were removed under sedation. He had previously had problems chewing and was eating his hay very reluctantly. Moritz has recovered well from this, so we hope he still has a beautiful time on our ranch! Moritz would be happy about great people who would like to support his life at Charly's Ranch with a sponsorship. We would also be very happy, as the treatment of his illnesses is very expensive.

Moritz lebt seit Anfang Oktober 2020 auf Charly's Ranch. Mit den anderen Ponys Maya, Luise und Mucki hat er sich zu unserer Freude schnell angefreundet. Moritz ist mit seinen etwa 30 Jahren schon ein richtiger Pony-Opi. Wenn er gut drauf ist und mit den anderen über die Wiese galoppiert, merkt man ihm sein Alter aber überhaupt nicht an! Doch es gibt auch andere Tage, da Moritz einige kostenintensive, altersbedingte Erkrankungen, wie das Equine Cushing Syndrom, mit sich herumschleppt. Im Januar 2021 musste Moritz dann auch noch in die Tierklinik nach Telgte, wo ihm unter Sedierung einige Zähne gezogen werden mussten. Zuvor hatte er Probleme beim Kauen gehabt und sein Heu nur sehr zögerlich gegessen. Doch auch hiervon hat Moritz sich gut erholt, sodass wir hoffen, dass ihm noch eine schöne Zeit auf unserer Ranch bevorsteht! Moritz freut sie sich über tolle Menschen, die sein Leben auf Charly's Ranch mit einer Patenschaft unterstützen möchten. Das würde auch uns sehr freuen, da die Behandlung seiner Erkrankungen sehr teuer ist.
