Cat Video: This lovely lady is called Mus. She was found together with her little brothers, Vink and Eend. When they first arrived, they were very scared. Fortunately, they were placed in a socialization foster home, where they’ve made wonderful progress. Mus still finds people a bit intimidating. Her foster mom is allowed to pet her, but with strangers, she’d rather retreat to her safe spot. If things get too exciting for her, she’ll start puffing herself up. Still, Mus often joins in on the “spin motor” play—once it gets going with the others, she happily jumps right in. Once Mus trusts you, she can really start to enjoy being petted. Of course, this takes time. That’s why we’re looking for someone who can give Mus that time and has plenty of patience for her. Mus also loves playing with her (foster) brothers and sisters, so she’d be thrilled if one of them could move in with her. A (human-socialized) companion would also help her build trust with new people. Small children are not a good match for Mus, and we don’t know how she’d react to dogs either. Mus’s estimated date of birth is April 24, 2025. She’s been dewormed, flea-treated, and microchipped. When you adopt her, you’ll receive a voucher for her final vaccination and spaying (that’s what it’s called for female cats), so these procedures can be carried out once she’s old enough. Filmpje Mus: Deze knappe dame heet Mus. Ze is samen met haar broertjes Vink en Eend gevonden. Bij binnenkomst waren ze erg bang. Gelukkig konden ze naar een socialisatie pleeggezin waar ze mooie stappen heeft gezet. Mus vindt mensen nog steeds wel spannend. Haar pleegmoeder mag haar aaien, maar bij onbekende mensen rent ze liever nog naar haar veilige plekje. Als ze het te spannend vindt, gaat ze blazen. Toch gaat Mus haar spinmotortje vaak aan. Zodra die bij de rest aangaat, doet ze lekker mee. Als Mus je eenmaal vertrouwt, kan ze ook echt genieten van het aaien. Dit heeft wel tijd nodig. Voor Mus zoeken we daarom iemand die haar die tijd geeft en geduld voor haar heeft. Mus speelt ook graag samen met haar (pleeg)broertjes en zusjes, dus ze zou het gezellig vinden als één van hen samen met haar mag verhuizen. Een (menssociaal) maatje zal haar ook helpen om vertrouwen te winnen bij nieuwe mensen. Kleine kinderen zijn geen goede match voor Mus en we weten ook niet hoe ze op honden reageert. Mus heeft een geschatte geboortedatum van 24 april 2025. Ze is ontwormd, ontvlooid en gechipt. Bij adoptie krijg je een tegoedbon mee voor haar laatste enting en castratie (zo heet dat bij poezen ook), zodat dat gedaan kan worden als ze oud genoeg is.
