Nelly Jelly can find meeting other dogs worrying and overwhelming due to being under-socialised as a youngster. She can be reactive on walks, barking and jumping when she sees other dogs, and therefore prefers quieter walking locations where she can feel more relaxed. She will need patient adopters who can help build her confidence through positive experiences and help her with her social skills and so she can learn to read other dogs body language. Nelly Jelly is unable to live with dogs, cats, or small furries, but she could live with sensible secondary school-aged children. Nelly Jelly is a happy, fun-loving 10-month-old girl who is looking for an active family to call her own. She is a confident, friendly puppy who loves meeting new people, although her excitement can sometimes make her a little bouncy. Nelly Jelly enjoys her walks, exploring new places, travelling in the car, and playing with her toys. She is fully housetrained, settles well in the home, and can be left for short periods once settled, currently managing a couple of hours in her foster home. She would thrive with adopters who enjoy getting outdoors and are committed to continuing her rewards-based training and providing plenty of enrichment and opportunities to sniff and explore.
