Nickie was abandoned following a separation and move at the beginning of 2026. She is currently in foster care. She is a calm and very affectionate cat who loves to snuggle up against her human beings in the morning when they wake up and in the evening on the couch. She also knows how to be playful and is very resourceful: she quickly figured out how to open the faucets to drink. We have a small piece of advice for her future family: avoid leaving her in charge of the faucets when you're away to avoid surprises like a bathroom turned into a pool! She adapts well to changes in her environment and can coexist with a dog. She can also coexist with other cats, with a period of adaptation and a fellow animal of the same species who is not too intrusive: a cat who is discreet and gives her space and does not seek to interact constantly. A health check-up was performed upon her arrival: everything is fine! However, there is a point of vigilance regarding her weight. Nickie is indeed overweight, which can have long-term health consequences. She is on a veterinarian light diet to regain a healthy weight, a regimen that her future adopters will need to maintain over time. This is an essential condition for her adoption. We are looking for a calm and affectionate family for Nickie with whom she can form a strong bond. The rest is open: house or apartment, with or without a garden, with or without other animals, with or without children, she adapts!. This animal is not suitable for homes with young children.

Nickie a été abandonnée suite à une séparation et un déménagement au début de l'année 2026. Elle est en famille d'accueil depuis. C'est une chatte calme et très câline qui adore venir se blottir contre ses humain·es le matin au réveil et le soir dans le canapé. Elle sait aussi être joueuse et se montre très débrouillarde : elle a très vite compris comment ouvrir les robinets pour boire . On aura un petit conseil pour sa future famille : éviter de lui laisser la garde des robinets quand on s'absente pour éviter les surprises de type salle de bain en mode piscine ! Elle s'adapte bien aux changements d'environnement et peut cohabiter avec un chien. Elle peut également cohabiter avec d'autres chats, avec un temps d'adaptation et un congénère qui n'est pas trop envahissant : un chat discret qui lui laisse de l'espace et qui ne cherche pas à interagir en permanence. Un bilan de santé a été réalisé à son arrivée : tout va bien ! Il y a cependant un point de vigilance sur son poids. Nickie est en effet en surpoids, ce qui peut avoir des conséquences sur sa santé à long terme. Elle suit une alimentation de gamme vétérinaire light pour retrouver un poids de forme, un suivi que ses futurs adoptants devront maintenir dans la durée. C'est une condition indispensable à son adoption. Nous recherchons pour Nickie une famille calme et affectueuse, avec qui elle pourra tisser un lien fort. Le reste est ouvert : maison ou appartement, avec ou sans jardin, avec ou sans animaux, avec ou sans enfants, elle s'adapte !
