If you're looking for a companion to enjoy walks, days out and plenty of cuddles, this Pug x Beagle could be the perfect match. Nugget would be happiest as the only dog in his new home, allowing him to enjoy all the attention for himself. He can sometimes be unsure how he feels about unfamiliar dogs and may prefer to keep to himself. Nugget could live with sensible secondary school-aged children and have visiting children of a similar age. Once settled, he can be left for up to six hours or longer if needed. He walks beautifully on the lead, travels well in the car for only short journeys and enjoys being out and about. Nugget can be a little nervous when having his harness put on and during vet visits, so he will need a family who can be patient and understanding.
