Paschal is a thoughtful, independent dog with a quiet personality and a gentle side that takes time to discover. He isn’t one to demand attention or rush into affection, but as he has grown more comfortable at the shelter, volunteers have begun to see little glimpses of happiness, including the occasional tail wag. He arrived at the shelter in 2023 and is believed to have been born around 2021. Since then, he has gradually begun to show more of his personality, reminding us that even the smallest steps forward can mean a great deal. Paschal enjoys peaceful walks, a good meal and somewhere quiet to relax. He would suit someone who leads a calm lifestyle and appreciates a dog who is happy with his own space rather than constant attention. A predictable routine and a peaceful home will be important in helping him settle. Paschal would not be suited to a home with children, as a noisy or busy environment may be overwhelming for him. He will need patient adopters who understand that trust takes time and are happy to let him build a bond at his own pace. He may not be the most outgoing dog, but for the right person, Paschal could be a wonderfully rewarding companion. Could you offer him the quiet, loving home he has been waiting for?
