Puma is an exceptionally charming young lady, looking for a human companion she can trust and who will make an effort to understand her needs. Unfortunately, Puma tends to get quite excited (at the sight of a dog or during overly vigorous play), but fortunately, she can just as quickly calm down and return to a more balanced state. She cherishes moments spent indoors with her caregiver—spending time sniffing around, relaxing with a tasty chew toy, or simply lying beside her handler and enjoying a brief escape from the hustle and bustle of the shelter. Physical touch strongly stimulates her, yet she clearly communicates when she needs a bit more personal space. At the shelter, Puma is learning many new things, getting acquainted with toys, and gradually finding her footing on walks. Based on her condition when she arrived, as well as the numerous scars and overall skin condition, it’s evident that she hasn’t received much care in her previous life. That’s why we’re rediscovering the world together, and potential adopters must be open to continuing the training process with this dog. Puma is a very energetic dog; leash walking is challenging for her, and at the moment, she doesn’t react positively to other animals—so we’re looking for a home where she can be an only pet. As a healthy, young dog of the TTB breed type, she’s lively and quick in her emotions, which is why we don’t recommend her for households with small children. We’re seeking a home for Puma that: —is ready to work with the dog, —understands canine needs and the specific characteristics of TTB breeds, —has no small children, and offers opportunities for walks in quiet areas (free from heavy street traffic and large crowds of people and dogs).

Puma to wyjątkowo czarująca panna, szukająca człowieka, któremu zaufa i który będzie starał się zrozumieć jej potrzeby. Pumcia niestety dość szybko wchodzi na wysokie obroty (na widok psa czy przy zbyt intensywnej zabawie), na szczęście równie szybko potrafi zwolnić i wrócić do trochę stabilniejszej wersji siebie. Ceni chwile spędzone z opiekunem w pomieszczeniach – spędza czas na węszeniu, wyciszaniu się przy smacznym żwaczu, ale też leżąc obok przewodnika i delektując się chwilową odskocznią od schroniskowego zgiełku. Dotyk dość mocno ją pobudza, ale bardzo czytelnie komunikuje, gdy potrzebuje trochę więcej przestrzeni od człowieka. Puma w schronisku uczy się wielu nowych rzeczy, poznaje zabawki i próbuje odnaleźć się na spacerach. Z kondycji, w której do nas trafiła, oraz licznych blizn i ogólnego stanu skóry można wnioskować, że nie zaznała zbyt dużo troski w swoim dotychczasowym życiu. Dlatego odkrywamy świat na nowo, a potencjalni adoptujący muszą być otwarci na dalszą pracę z psem. Puma jest bardzo silnym psem, spacery na smyczy są dla niej trudne i na ten moment nie reaguje pozytywnie na inne zwierzęta – szuka domu, w którym będzie mogła być jedynaczką. Jako zdrowy i młody pies w typie rasy TTB, w emocjach jest skoczna i szybka, dlatego też nie polecamy jej do domu z małymi dziećmi. Dla Pumy szukamy domu: – gotowego na pracę z psem, – rozumiejącego psie potrzeby i specyfikę ras TTB – bez małych dzieci, z możliwością spacerów w cichej okolicy (bez dużego ruchu ulicznego oraz dużej liczby ludzi i psów)
