You Two has just arrived at our shelter following the passing of his owner... He’s a bit lost and doesn’t understand what he’s doing here at the refuge. When he first arrived, he was thin and covered in multiple injuries. We’ve placed him in the reception area for his comfort—there’s absolutely no way we’d let him endure this heatwave! This situation must remain temporary; we’ll soon start looking for a home for him, either in the short or long term. He needs a calm environment that’s well-suited to his walking difficulties. Right now, he’s undergoing treatment (the pills need to be mixed into his food), and he still moves around with some difficulty. He needs peace and rest to recover fully. His compatibility with other dogs and cats is unknown, so we’ll need to proceed with caution during initial introductions. He’s a very gentle and sweet dog who, given his age, will thrive in a quiet, peaceful environment. Short, regular walks will be sufficient, as long as we respect his pace. ❤ If you’re interested in adopting FALD, we’re looking for a family willing to travel to our vets in Auch if necessary. ℹ Adoption fees are by donation and cover microchipping, neutering, the first vaccination, and internal and external parasite treatments for dogs—and testing for cats.
