Roger is a small mixed-breed dog of about 10 years old, with a difficult past behind him and a heart that, despite everything, has never stopped seeking affection and security. With his 8 kg, he encapsulates the sweetness of a dog that has finally begun to understand what it means to feel protected. After living for years in a context where he did not receive the attention and love he needed, he found himself wandering alone until some volunteers welcomed him and brought him to safety. From that moment on, little by little, he began to trust people again. He is a affectionate dog who loves cuddles, the quiet presence beside him, and those small daily gestures that make him feel finally at peace. At first, he can be a bit wary because life has taught him to go slow, but when he understands that he can trust, he forms deep and sincere bonds. With older people, he is calm, delicate, and very cuddly, appreciating moments of calm and the proximity of people. With other dogs, he prefers relationships managed with care and gradually, especially with females. He is a companion who needs to be given time, tranquility, and someone capable of welcoming him with patience and gentleness.

Roger è un piccolo meticcio di circa 10 anni, con un passato difficile alle spalle e un cuore che, nonostante tutto, non ha mai smesso di cercare affetto e sicurezza. Con i suoi 8 kg racchiude tutta la dolcezza di un cane che ha finalmente iniziato a conoscere cosa significhi sentirsi protetto. Dopo aver vissuto per anni in un contesto in cui non ha ricevuto le attenzioni e l’amore di cui aveva bisogno, si è ritrovato a vagare da solo finché alcuni volontari lo hanno accolto e portato al sicuro. Da quel momento, poco alla volta, ha iniziato ad affidarsi nuovamente alle persone. È un cane affettuoso, che ama le coccole, la presenza tranquilla accanto a sé e quei piccoli gesti quotidiani che lo fanno sentire finalmente sereno. All’inizio può mostrarsi un po’ diffidente, perché la vita gli ha insegnato ad andare piano, ma quando capisce di potersi fidare crea legami profondi e sinceri. Con le persone anziane si mostra tranquillo, delicato e molto coccolone, apprezzando i momenti di calma e la vicinanza delle persone. Con gli altri cani preferisce relazioni gestite con attenzione e gradualità, soprattutto con le femmine. È un compagno che ha bisogno di tempi rispettati, tranquillità e qualcuno capace di accoglierlo con pazienza e dolcezza.
