Support and Health How much training will I need? Needs some support Can I be left alone? Potentially, once settled Sally came to us as a stray so we do not know what she is like left home alone. Therefore any home alone time will need to be built up gradually at her pace. Do I have any medical conditions? History of Sally has a historic medical condition, namely blood in urine which was resolved, that will require consideration before this pet is rehomed. Our rehoming team will be able to give you further information if you apply to rehome them and you are a successful match. We would also advise that any medical conditions, be that historic or ongoing, are discussed with your own vet prior to taking them home. Who I can live with Can I live with dogs? No Can I live with cats? No Can I live with small pets? No Additional information Sally will want to be the only dog in her new home. At Woodgreen she has greeted dogs she has met in a calm manner, however she doesn’t seek out these interactions. She is a lone ranger and doesn’t need canine companionship to be her best self. Family and environment What kind of family am I looking for? We do not have any knowledge of Sally around children as she was a stray. Therefore, if there were children in the home they would need to be at least 8 years old, who will understand her calm energy and give her space when she wants it. What type of environment would suit me? Sally will need a secure, private garden with tall fencing, as she shown she is an agile lady. This will give her a safe space to explore and sniff at her own pace, and also help with her housetraining. About Sally Meet Sally – a gentle, mature lady who enjoys her tasty snacks and leisurely walks. She loves relaxing in a comfy spot and taking in the world around her. Although she’s an older lady, she recently surprised everyone by making an impressive jump over a baby gate! Sally may enjoy a slower pace these days, but she still has plenty of spirit and determination.
