Smokey Joe is a lovely boy and was retired early after he had a very nasty accident. He was chased out of a field by some dogs and ended up tangled up in a wire fence. After a lot of veterinary intervention and many hundreds of stitches, he made a recovery.His owners asked if he could come to Willows as he couldn't be ridden again and they wanted to see him into a safe permanent home. He's been retired for many years now and he just loves all his friends at Willows.
