Viktoria came to us after the Search & Rescue team spent quite some time to catch her, she was scared and shy back then.... It took her several weeks to start coming out of her shell, but at the same time, she was feeling super comfortable, cheerful and more confident in her kennel, which became her safe space. Viktoria is a very beautiful Bodeguero/Podenco type of dog, and she looks very memorable, we don't often see a dog having her looks. She always enjoys the company of other dogs, and having canine friends around, gives her confidence, joy and bring her out of her shell much faster. She is therefore definitely looking for a home with at least 1 other dog, and some experience in rehabilitating scared/shy dogs, because she will surely be somewhat shy again once she moves to a new environment. Once she knows the routine and has her friends, she is active, playful and loves to run around the dog park with her dog friends. Viktoria can still be shy about completely new people approaching her, but she is getting more and more confident every day, as she walks daily with various volunteers and meets new people every day. When Viktoria is together with her dog friends, she walks very well on the leash, and enjoys walks and meeting other calm, social dogs, and also new people, when they don't come to her running and loud. Her ideal home would be close to the nature, in a calm environment, in the countryside, or maybe a small town, or suburbs, where she could go for calm walks without much traffic or too many changes to her daily life - routine and familiar environment will give her confidence. Viktoria is a very kind girl, who actually really is playful and full of joy, she just needs an environment where to feel relaxed, and her happy self can shine. Her shoulder height is 43cm.
