Babsi è stata vista in strada per diversi giorni, insieme alla piccola cagnetta Dachsi Minna (già in casa nuova), prima di essere catturata una dopo l'altra. Entrambe erano molto magre, timide con le persone e spaventate dalle nuove situazioni. Solo pochi istanti prima di essere catturata, Babsi stava correndo disperatamente sull'autostrada, confusa e stressata al massimo. Non appena arrivata al rifugio, ha dormito sul suo letto per 3 giorni di fila, senza esagerare... Ha dormito solo, mangiato, bevuto acqua, si è girata su un lato e poi è tornata a dormire. Una volta ripresasi dall'estrema stanchezza, è iniziata ad uscire lentamente dalla sua gabbia, a guardarsi intorno, a salutare gli altri cani nell'area, ma era ancora timorosa delle persone, non sapendo chi fidarsi. Quando Babsi ha visto una persona diverse volte, si rilassa intorno a loro, e le piace fare passeggiate, rimanendo vicino al tuo lato. È un incrocio Podenco Campanero, e con la sua bellezza eterna ed eleganza, dovrebbe davvero recitare nei film. La sua bellezza ti fa pensare agli elfi e a tutte le cose divine, fragile e delicata. Babsi ama essere toccata dalle persone che conosce e si fida, tuttavia desidera ancora di essere avvicinata lentamente, senza movimenti frenetici. Possiamo vedere che trova veramente conforto nella "familiarità" - le piace tornare nella sua gabbia, perché sa che è uno spazio sicuro, le piace camminare accanto alle persone che già conosce, e quando cammina sugli stessi percorsi, possiamo vedere visibilmente che si rilassa nella situazione. Con altri cani è rispettosa e sociale, e anche se in un ambiente tranquillo, con routine quotidiane lente e ripetitive, potrebbe benissimo essere un cane unico, ma essendo circondata da altri cani sociali, si sentirà senz'altro più a suo agio in nuove situazioni, affidandosi al loro aiuto. Al momento, Babsi non gode ancora di correre liberamente nel parco, ma preferisce essere guidata con guinzaglio o seguire un compagno canino. Anche se può avere momenti di panico per alcuni rumori forti o movimenti improvvisi, come un'autobotte, lei stessa ha una energia così calma e ferma quando si rilassa. Ma non pensare che questa signora anziana abbia perso ogni scintilla di vita, no no! Quando meno te lo aspetti, nei suoi spazi più sicuri, fa di tanto in tanto una danza buffa! Quindi sappiamo che ha ancora un lato giocoso e spensierato nascosto, e siamo sicuri che una volta che sarà in una casa sicura, con il suo umano per sempre, correrà giocando in giardino in tempo zero! Babsi cerca una casa in un ambiente tranquillo, sia in un'area verde di un piccolo paese, un villaggio o in campagna. Città è un'opzione per Babsi, e non vorrebbe nemmeno andare a vivere con bambini piccoli per ora, a causa del rumore e dei movimenti frenetici dei bambini. Bambini più grandi, educati e che si comportano dolcemente sarebbero accettabili! L'altezza alla spalla è 63 cm.

Babsi was seen on the streets for several days, together with little Dachsi-girl Minna (already in her new home), before they could be caught one after the other. They were both very skinny, shy with people and scared of new situations. Just before she was caught, Babsi was running for her life on the motorway, confused and stressed to the maximum. Once she arrived to the shelter, she slept on her bed for 3 days straight, no exaggeration... She only slept, ate, drank water, turned sides, and went back to sleep. Once Babsi recovered from the terrible exhaustion, she started to come out of her kennel slowly, to look around, greet other dogs in the area, but still being fearful of people, not knowing who yet to trust. When Babsi has seen a person several times, she relaxes around them, and likes to go for walks, staying close by your side. She is a beautiful Podenco Campanero mix, and with her timeless beauty and elegance, she really should be performing in movies. Her beauty makes you think of elves, and all things divine, fragile, delicate. Babsi enjoys to be touched by the people that she knows and trusts, however she still wishes to be approached slowly, without hectic movements. We can see that she really finds comfort in "familiarity" - she likes to go back to her kennel, because she knows that's a safe space, she likes to walk next to the people she already knows, and when walking the same routes, we can visibly see her relaxing into the situation. With other dogs she is respectful and social, and even though in a quiet home, with slow and repetitive daily routines, she could also well be an only dog, then having other social dogs around, she will surely feel more comfortable in new situations, relying on their guidance. At the moment, Babsi does not yet enjoy running around in the park by her own initiative, but prefers to be led by leash, or to follow a canine companion. Even though she can get moments of panic by some loud sounds or sudden intrusive movements, like a trash truck, she herself actually has such calm, still energy when she is relaxing. But don't think that this elderly lady has no spark left, no no! When you least expect it, in her safest spaces, she let's out an occasional goofy dance! So we know she has a playful and carefree side of her still in hiding, and we're sure that once she is in a safe home, with her forever human, she will be playfully running around the garden in no time! Babsi is looking for a home in a quiet environment, either in a green area of a small town, a village or on the countryside. City is in an option for Babsi, and she also would not like to move in with small children at the moment, due to the noise & hectic movements of children. Older, educated and softly behaving children would be fine! Her shoulder height is 63cm.
