Ha anche fatto molti amici canini nel centro, ma avrà bisogno di essere l'unico animale domestico in casa, affinché possa concentrarsi sulle nuove routine. Dal momento che avrà bisogno di una routine molto tranquilla e prevedibile, la sua casa dovrà essere in un luogo tranquillo e sereno lontano da qualsiasi movimento e caos, esclusivamente per adulti e con un giardino sicuro, in modo che abbia un posto dove sentirsi al sicuro all'inizio. Ivy sta attualmente prendendo farmaci per l'ansia, ma non lasciatevi spaventare da questo. Dogs Trust potrebbe essere in grado di supportare alcuni dei costi continui. Ivy è una bellissima Staffy Cross di 18 mesi che ha avuto un inizio molto difficile. È nata qui nel centro, ma purtroppo era il cucciolo più piccolo della cucciolata. Ci è voluto molto lavoro per tenerla in vita, ma alla fine è diventata più forte. Purtroppo, ha trascorso tutta la sua vita finora con noi, poiché il suo inizio problematico l'ha resa molto ansiosa e priva di fiducia. Abbiamo passato molti mesi ad aiutarla a imparare che le persone nuove sono amiche e ora è finalmente pronta a trovare la sua casa per sempre. Ivy è una ragazza molto speciale e avrà bisogno di adottatori molto speciali che saranno felici di lavorare con noi per prepararla gradualmente alla prossima fase della sua vita e che vivranno a meno di 1 ora di distanza dal centro di riabilitazione di Leeds, a causa del bisogno di diverse visite e visite a casa.

Once Ivy knows you, she is a really sweet and playful dog. She LOVES to snuggle with her friends and gets super playful too! You’ll need to visit her many times before she’ll show you this side of her but it’s well worth the effort. She’s also made many doggy friends at the centre too, but she will need to be the only pet in her home so she can focus on settling into a new routine. Since she will need a very calm, predictable routine, her home must be in a quiet peaceful location away from any hustle and bustle, adult only and with a secure garden, so she has somewhere she feels safe outdoors initially. Ivy is currently taking medication for her anxiety but please don’t let this put you off her. Dogs Trust may be able to support with some of the ongoing cost. Ivy is a beautiful 18-month-old Staffy Cross who had a very difficult start to life. She was born here at the centre but was unfortunately the ‘runt’ of the litter. It took a lot of work to keep her going but she eventually grew stronger. Sadly, she has spent her entire life so far with us as her tricky start has left her very anxious and lacking in confidence. We’ve spent many months helping her learn that new people are friends and she is finally ready to find her forever home. Ivy is a very special girl and so will need very special adopters who are happy to work with us to slowly prepare her for the next chapter in her life, and who live within a 1hr drive of the Leeds rehoming centre due to the need for multiple visits and home visits.
