Aiutaci a trovare una nuova casa per Milo condividendo questa pagina! Milo è un Shih Tzu di 9 anni che viene riammalato da Rovers Dog Rescue. Si trova attualmente in una famiglia affidataria con più cani nel Essex. Cerca una casa senza bambini e può vivere con un altro cane compatibile o come unico cane. Vuole essere al centro dell'attenzione. Milo è un tipico Shih Tzu, testardo ma affettuoso... a suo modo. Adora accoccolarsi con il suo umano sul divano e ama molto le grattatine sulla testa! Milo adora le sue passeggiate e ignorerà altri cani se mantengono le distanze, ma se si avvicinano troppo gli dirà di allontanarsi. È abbastanza facile da gestire, anche quando è aggressivo, povero tesoro! Milo ha la sua opinione e non gli piace essere pettinato. Questo è difficile poiché il pelo che cresce velocemente del Shih Tzu e le unghie richiedono che vada dal parrucchiere regolarmente. Da quando è in affidamento, è stato spazzolato ogni giorno ed è un po' più morbido. Il parrucchiere che va a tagliare è estremamente paziente e esperto, quindi hanno gradualmente raggiunto un'intesa. Ha bisogno di un proprietario che non sia un pushover riguardo al problema della toeletta. Quando è arrivato in affidamento, era in uno stato terribile e è stato sedato dal veterinario per rimuovere tutti i nodi, povero animale. I veterinari sono un altro punto sulla sua lista! Non tanto perché deve aver avuto un occhio rimosso di recente e temporaneamente è stato trasformato in un paralume. Non ha lasciato che questo lo rallentasse e si è ripreso immediatamente, probabilmente godendosi di dover essere somministrato con la forchetta mentre aveva il cono! La ferita si è ripresa splendidamente e è tornato completamente al suo solito, a volte testardo io. Pur essendo un carattere forte, Milo è un compagno divertente, dolce e carino. È il perfetto migliore amico per qualcuno con senso dell'umorismo e determinazione con il pettine per il cane che corrisponde alla sua stessa ostinazione. Può essere lasciato solo in casa per un po' e adora i viaggi in auto! Please help Milo by sharing this page! Milo is a 9-year-old Shih Tzu being rehomed by Rovers Dog Rescue. He's currently in a multi-dog foster home in Essex. He's looking for a child-free home and can live with another compatible dog or as an only dog. He prefers to be the centre of attention. Milo is a typical Shih Tzu, stubborn but affectionate… on his own terms. He does love to snuggle up to his human on the sofa and he loves a good head scratchies! Milo loves his walks and will ignore other dogs if they keep their distance but, if they get to close he will tell them to back off. He's easy enough to manage, even when he's being fierce, bless him! Milo knows his own mind and doesn't like being groomed. This is tricky since the Shih Tzu fast growing fur and claws mean he does have to go to the groomers regularly. Since being in foster, he's been brushed every day and has softened slightly. The groomer he's been going to for a trim is extremely patient and experienced so they have gradually reached an understanding. He does need an owner who will not be a pushover about the grooming issue. When he first arrived in foster care, he was in a terrible state and had to be sedated at the vets to remove all the mats, poor thing. Vets are another one on his list! Not least because he had to have an eye removed recently and was temporarily turned into a lampshade. He hasn't let this slow him down and bounced back straight away, probably enjoying having to be spoon fed while he had his cone on! The wound has healed beautifully and he's completely restored to his usual, sometimes wilful self. Strong character though he is, Milo is a funny, sweet and charming companion. He's the perfect best friend for someone with a sense of humour and a determination with the dog brush to match Milo's own single-mindedness. He can be left for a while at home on his own and he loves car rides!
