La storia di Nancy non è iniziata come dovrebbe iniziare quella di un cucciolo... ma sta diventando qualcosa di veramente speciale 💛 A febbraio, Nancy e sue sorelle sono state trovate abbandonate in una borsa di plastica vicino all'Autódromo - appena poche settimane e in lotta per la vita. Tragicamente, uno dei cuccioli non è sopravvissuto, ma Nancy e sue tre sorelle non hanno mollato. Piccola, fragile e totalmente dipendente dalla cura umana, Nancy è stata immediatamente messa in foster, dove ha ricevuto alimentazione costante, calore e amore. Ci sono stati momenti in cui era a rischio... ma grazie alla dedizione incredibile dei suoi allevatori, è riuscita a superare. E ora? Sta andando bene. Nancy è un'anima dolce e affettuosa con una natura tenera e amabile. Adora i coccoloni, va molto bene con i bambini, altri cani e ama i momenti tranquilli accanto a te, e sta iniziando ad esplorare il mondo con crescente fiducia. C'è qualcosa di veramente speciale in lei: una dolcezza calma che ti fa innamorare subito. Come tutti i cuccioli, avrà bisogno di guida, pazienza e formazione continua mentre cresce. Si prevede che raggiungerà le dimensioni di un Labrador, quindi la sua futura famiglia dovrà essere pronta per questo - ma in cambio otterrai un compagno fedele e devoto per tutta la vita. La maggior parte dei nostri cani è stata trovata abbandonata da cuccioli, scartata come cucciolate non volute, come spesso accade in Portogallo dove la castrazione non è così comune come nel Regno Unito. Dopo il salvataggio, tutti i nostri cuccioli trascorrono un periodo in rifugi privati e case di accoglienza, il che significa che arrivano felici, sani e ben socializzati. Nancy’s story didn’t begin the way any puppy’s should… but it’s turning into something truly special 💛 Back in February, Nancy and her sisters were found abandoned in a plastic bag near the Autódromo — just a few weeks old and fighting for their lives. Tragically, one of the litter didn’t survive, but Nancy and her three sisters refused to give up. Tiny, fragile, and completely dependent on human care, Nancy was rushed into foster, where she received round-the-clock feeding, warmth, and love. There were moments when it was touch and go… but thanks to the incredible dedication of her foster carers, she pulled through. And now? She’s thriving. Nancy is a gentle, affectionate little soul with a soft, loving nature. She adores cuddles, great with children, other dogs & enjoys quiet moments by your side, and is beginning to explore the world with growing confidence. There’s something very special about her — a calm sweetness that makes you instantly fall in love. Like all puppies, she’ll need guidance, patience, and ongoing training as she grows. She’s expected to grow to around the size of a Labrador, so her future family will need to be ready for that — but in return, you’ll gain a loyal, devoted companion for life. Most of our dogs have been found abandoned as young pups, discarded as unwanted litters, as is often the case in Portugal where neutering is not as common as in the UK. After rescue, all of our pups spend time in private shelters and foster homes, meaning they arrive happy, healthy and well socialised. UK Registered Charity Number 1183775
