The Rottweiler ARNI, born on August 14, 2017, came to us because his owners were overwhelmed with him. Arnie is neutered, weighs 46kg, and has a shoulder height of 65cm. The human-friendly ARNI behaves affectionately towards his trusted people. With strangers, he shows a distant and sometimes suspicious behavior. ARNI is only conditionally compatible with other animals. He generally does not like male dogs around him and with female dogs, his preference depends on their liking. He also shows a partial leashing aggression. However, walking with other dogs in the group is not a problem. In the environment, ARNI is stable. With proper guidance, he responds well to the dog handler and has no problems with cyclists, passing people, and cars, as long as his individual space is not encroached upon. ARNI has an extremely pronounced territorial behavior, meaning strangers should not enter the garden/house when ARNI is unobserved. ARNI has a very good basic obedience. He has already passed some tests. For ARNI, we are looking for dog-experienced/race-experienced people who can give him a stable and structured home. We are seeking someone who is physically capable of handling the male dog and can lead a strong Rottweiler with foresight. Children or other animals should not live in the household. Since ARNI is listed as a List II dog breed in Bavaria, the new owner should inform their community about the housing conditions for this breed in advance.
