Ontmoet Balto – Onze diamant in de ruimte! Deze knappe jongen is Balto, een Duitse herder mengsel die geduldig zijn eeuwige thuis verwacht. Het dierenasijs past niet voor hem – het is lawaaiig, overweldigend en Balto heeft moeite om hier te ontspannen. Maar onder het stress ziet men glimpjes van een slimme, trouwe en liefdevolle hond die alleen de juiste persoon nodig heeft om te stralen. Balto houdt van zijn traktaties (serieus – dat is de weg naar zijn hart!) en we gebruiken ze al voor korte oefeningen. Hij is slim en bereid te leren met de juiste motivatie en rustige leiding. Wandelingen kunnen soms een beetje uitdagend zijn, vooral rond andere honden – niet door agressie, maar door frustratie en opwinding. Met een sterke, zelfverzekerde en ervaren eigenaar weten we dat Balto kan leren zijn energie op een positieve manier te kanaliseren. Balto zal bloeien in een rustig, gestructureerd huis waar hij tijd, ruimte en consistentie krijgt. Met geduld en de juiste leiderschap zal hij je tienmaal terugbetalen met trouw, liefde en veel persoonlijkheid. Als jij een ervaren hondeneigenaar bent die klaar bent om Balto te helpen het geweldige hondje te worden dat we weten dat hij kan zijn, neem dan contact op! Meet Balto – Our Diamond in the Ruff! This handsome boy is Balto, a German Shepherd mix who’s patiently waiting for his forever home. Shelter life just isn’t for him – it’s noisy, overwhelming, and Balto is struggling to relax here. But beneath the stress, we see glimpses of a smart, loyal, and loving dog who just needs the right person to help him shine. Balto loves his treats (seriously – they’re the way to his heart!) and we’re already using them for short bursts of training. He’s clever and eager to learn with the right motivation and calm guidance. Walks can be a little challenging at times, especially around other dogs – not out of aggression, but out of frustration and excitement. With a strong, confident, and experienced owner, we know Balto can learn to channel his energy in a more positive way. Balto will thrive in a quiet, structured home where he’s given time, space, and consistency. With patience and the right leadership, he will reward you tenfold with loyalty, love, and lots of personality. He loves a sniffari and he came up to me a few times for head scratches and looked for more as the walk went on and our time together grew.
