Cardo is shy towards strangers. He first observes the events from a small distance and always seems a bit contemplative. He easily seeks the back of his kennel mates for courage, so a confident dog companion would definitely be a big help also in the future home or foster home. When strangers are around the kennel, Cardo doesn't dare to come within touching distance, but through the fence he happily eats treats from the hand even without the support of his dog companions.

Cardo on vieraita ihmisiä kohtaan ujo. Hän seurailee ensin häkin tapahtumia pienen välimatkan päästä ja tuntuu aina olevan hieman pohdiskelevan oloinen. Hän hakeutuu herkästi häkkikavereidensa taakse hakemaan rohkeutta, joten reipas koirakaveri olisi varmasti iso apu myös tulevassa kodissa tai kotihoitopaikassa. Vieraiden ollessa häkissä Cardo ei uskalla tulla kosketusetäisyydelle, mutta häkin aidan läpi hän käy reippaasti syömässä herkkuja kädestä myös ilman koirakaverien tukea.
