Dirk is a handsome 2-year-old tomcat who came to us as a shy young cat. New situations and unfamiliar people find him exciting. He will therefore be reserved at first and really needs the time to adjust. What is important to know: Dirk does nothing. From his fear, he will rather withdraw than act out. With patience, calmness and a predictable environment, he can gradually gain more confidence. For Dirk, we are looking for a quiet household without children. Crowds and unexpected movements do not suit him. A stable place where he can be himself and nothing is forced is exactly what he needs. In addition, Dirk should be able to go outside. A safe garden or a quiet environment where he can explore the world at his own pace will do him good and help him feel better. Are you the calm, patient person who gives Dirk the time to bloom? Dirk is een knappe kater van 2 jaar die bij ons is binnengekomen als een angstige jongen. Nieuwe situaties en onbekende mensen vindt hij spannend. Hij zal zich in het begin dan ook terughoudend opstellen en heeft echt de tijd nodig om te wennen. Wat belangrijk is om te weten: Dirk doet niets. Vanuit zijn angst zal hij zich eerder terugtrekken dan uithalen. Met rust, geduld en een voorspelbare omgeving kan hij stapje voor stapje meer vertrouwen krijgen. Voor Dirk zoeken wij een rustig huishouden zonder kinderen. Drukte en onverwachte bewegingen passen niet bij hem. Een stabiele plek waar hij zichzelf mag zijn en niets wordt geforceerd, is precies wat hij nodig heeft. Daarnaast moet Dirk naar buiten kunnen. Een veilige tuin of een rustige omgeving waar hij op zijn eigen tempo de wereld kan verkennen, zal hem goed doen en hem helpen zich fijner te voelen.
